28th Young Composer Competition, 2007 Frederic Mompou International Award

performers: piano solo

duration: The recommended duration is between 12 and 20 minutes. The scores must make some reference to Frederic Mompou’s compositions for the piano, whether in their sound, timbre or form..

for who: Any composer who is not over 35 years of age on 31 December 2007 can participate in this competition.

deadline: before 1 October 2007

prizes: The Frederic Mompou International Award for 2007 consists of:

- The amount of €5.000. This amount will be subject to Spanish taxation.

- Publishing and marketing of the winning score.

- The first performance of the piece.

The Frederic Mompou International Award cannot be shared or declared void.
