EDES - The Edison Denisov International Young Composers Competition

performers: quintet flute, clarinet, piano, violin and cello. Using flauto piccolo, flauto alto and clarinetto basso B is permitted. 

duration: between 10 to 5 minutes.  

for who: The competition is open to composers of any nationality, who were born not earlier than on November 1st, 1967. 

deadline: September15th , 2007.

entry fee: no

prizes: The First Prize is 2500 Euros (payment of Les Editions du Chant du Monde), the Second Prize is 1500 Euros (payment of the Culture Department of Tomsk Region). The competition judges have the rights to establish only one prize. Besides, the judges establish three diplomas.

performers: The scores should be for Female Voice and Ensemble. Any of the instruments listed below can be utilized for the ensemble: 1 Flute (also piccolo and alto flute), 1 Clarinet (also bass clarinet), 1 Violin, 1 Cello, 1 Piano, Percussion (one player): Vibraphone, Crotales, Triangle, 1 Suspended Cymbal, Woodblocks, Snare drum, 2 Bongos, 4 Tom-Toms.
